The Leigh Leopards are a professional rugby league club based in Leigh, Greater Manchester, England. They compete in the Super League, the top tier of British rugby league.
History: The club was founded in 1878, making them one of the oldest rugby league clubs in the world. Throughout their history, they have been known by several names, including Leigh RLFC, Leigh Centurions, and currently, Leigh Leopards. Their previous name was Leigh Centurions before rebranding in 2023.
Stadium: Their home ground is the Leigh Sports Village.
Honours: While not consistently a top-tier team, they have had periods of success, including winning the Challenge Cup in 1921 and 1971. In 2023 they once again won the Challenge Cup.
